International travel system provider expands commitment to Integrated Research's PROGNOSIS

20 Feb 2007

Sabre Holdings Corporation (NYSE:TSG), a global provider of travel industry booking system technology
and marketing services, increased its commitment to PROGNOSIS by purchasing an global
enterprise-wide license.

PROGNOSIS helps Sabre deliver extremely high computing reliability to its 59,000-plus
connected travel agencies around the world. When application problems arise, PROGNOSIS
generates immediate alerts and gives Sabre’s IT staff deep, drill-down diagnostics to uncover
and resolve the issues - often before they impact end users.

Sabre began using PROGNOSIS in 2002 to gain insight into the performance and reliability of
their business-critical HP NonStop computer systems. In early 2003, the company extended its
investment and use of PROGNOSIS software to growing numbers of UNIX and Linux systems
being installed in its air travel shopping application.

“PROGNOSIS provides a unified, cross-platform view across key business systems deployed in
a heterogeneous computing environment.” said Scott Healy, Vice President in Sabre’s Systems
Engineering, Quality and Development group “By combining metrics from multiple systems,
PROGNOSIS gives us a common view and ultimate control of our application environment.”

The new enterprise license agreement, combined with the additional purchase of PROGNOSIS
business integration functionality provides Sabre the flexibility to cost effectively expand
PROGNOSIS coverage to critical middleware systems. “Sabre is now free to install
PROGNOSIS to monitor and diagnose critical systems around the company without having to
purchase and maintain one-off license agreements.” added Healy.

“We’re delighted to increase our relationship with Sabre.” said Kurt Roscow, President and
General Manager Americas for Integrated Research. “Sabre provides some of the most
advanced, real-time computer systems in the world – and this is a perfect match for our
PROGNOSIS software."
