Integrated Research announced a trend within its Global 1000 client base to migrate to new server technology based on HP-UX11i v3 and HP Integrity servers.
“We’re clearly seeing movement to HP Integrity and HP-UX 11i by many of our largest HP Nonstop customers,” said Keith Andrews, CEO of Integrated Research. “We invested a lot of time and effort to ensure PROGNOSIS gained DSPP certification to support and manage HP Integrity server technology. This strategy has since proven worthwhile with the subsequent uptake of PROGNOSIS software to manage these high-end server systems.”
PROGNOSIS software provides these customers with real-time performance monitoring and deep system diagnostics across multiple server platforms, including the HP Integrity servers running HP-UX 11i.
This migration trend among PROGNOSIS customers is most prevalent within banking and financial services organizations, where high server performance and reliability is critical, and includes geographically dispersed customers in North and South America, Europe and Asia Pacific.
Andrews adds “North America’s largest bank for example, which uses our PROGNOSIS software to provide availability monitoring and service level monitoring for their HP Integrity NonStop servers, has adopted HP-UX 11i v3 for their web banking facility. This customer has expressed that they are very satisfied with the HP Integrity platform running HP-UX11i\.”
“Financial institutions worldwide demand powerful and highly-available systems, and the Integrity family of servers are best-suited to deliver just that,” said Michelle Weiss, vice president of marketing, Business Critical Systems, HP.” We are pleased that PROGNOSIS customers are continuing to rely on the HP Integrity server family.”
