Integrated Research is a successful Australian company exporting its PROGNOSIS software to customers in more than 50 countries. Working in our Head Office in North Sydney, this role offers an exciting opportunity as a test analyst for our Voice-over-IP monitoring and reporting products.
As Test Analyst, you will require strong knowledge of VoIP protocols and SQL database operations. This role will either suit a Test Analyst with 2-3 years expereince or a Senior Test Analyst with more than 3 years experience.
Main activities:
- Participate in estimation, planning and risk estimation.
- Participate in reviews of requirements, specification and design.
- Preparing Test documentation (test plans and scripts).
- System Testing - including logging defects and assisting developers to isolate and resolve defects where possible.
- Communicating test activities and findings.
- Adhering to Test disciplines and methodologies.
- Performing specialised and general testing, including complex systems.
- Advises, educates, and evangelises the QA aspects of the development life cycle, especially to developers.
- Develop and manage maintenance of automated Test harnesses.
- Track Test results.
- Perl scripting.
- Advise on software fitness for release.
You will have experience working with PBXs, gateways and protocols and protocols; proficient in SQL Select and Insert queries with an understanding of databases; strong quality focus and the ability to think laterally to overcome difficulties in problem analysis and resolution; strong communications skills, both written and verbal; excellent interpersonal skills; be a team player and also work autonomously; relevant tertiary qualifications; have the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines; and have excellent time management and organisational skills, with strong attention to detail.
