It is designed to address routine, thresholdbased exception conditions and provides Command and Control capability that allows the execution of defined commands from PROGNOSIS.
With PROGNOSIS you can use thresholds to automatically execute context sensitive, multi-parameter or prompted TACL and OBEY commands, to send messages to processes, files or a terminal, or to generate availability metrics.
You can easily modify thresholds provided or create your own, to better suit your individual requirements.
