Prognosis ATM Transaction Manager is one of a group of Prognosis products used to proactively monitor the performance and throughput of financial transactions in ACI BASE24, EFD Connex and other switch environments.

Through detailed transaction analysis and intuitive dashboard displays, Prognosis ATM Transaction Manager significantly enhances your ability to identify and address ATM transaction problems - and ultimately improve customer service.

Prognosis lets you understand what’s going on in your ATM environment, providing business intelligence and transaction statistics such as ATM and card usage, as well as response codes and response times for online transaction analysis.

Improving customer service

Top-level dashboard displays identify and alert you to transaction problems as they happen. You can then drill down to understand exactly which transactions are affected, and how are they affected. This allows you to uncover the root cause of problems, such as excessive denials, transaction failures, stand-ins or slow response times.

Transaction results are summarized in various ways for visual representation of the transaction processing environment. For example, transaction results can be displayed by card issuer, acquirer, processor interface, ATM location, transaction type, card base (BIN) and user-defined transaction sets.

Understanding ATM usage trends

Complementing the real-time dashboards are insightful transaction reports containing information such as transactions per second, denial rates and response times, stand-in transactions by issuer, reasons for reversals, and response code analysis.

Prognosis historical reports give you insight into ATM usage trends, providing intelligence about transaction rates, card usage, badly performing card bases and withdrawal amounts by ATM. These reports can be used to identify underutilized ATMs as well as transaction trends and the adoption of new services.


		Identify and resolve obscure transaction problems to improve customer service: Prognosis provides real-time and historical analysis of transaction processing. It generates events for problems that typically go unnoticed, such as timeouts for a specific card base.
		Instantly analyze transaction details to uncover the root cause: Transaction dashboards highlight when denials are affecting a particular card or transaction type, processor or card base. Prognosis analyzes these details, correlating the entities involved with response codes for those transactions.

Key information provided

View and report transaction results by card issuer, acquirer, ATM location, city, BIN, transaction type, data elements and more. Using any combination of these and additional metrics from the transaction log file enables you to build custom transaction result sets.
