PROGNOSIS Standard Training course

Course Outline (USA and UK)

This course provides users with a basic understanding of the PROGNOSIS products, their design and usage.

Students will gain an understanding of the PROGNOSIS architecture and how to use the PROGNOSIS GUI.  Students will learn how to use and customize PROGNOSIS displays, databases, thresholds, atlases and configurations.

Course topics include:

  • Overview of PROGNOSIS architecture
  • Introduction to the Graphical User Interface
  • Displays – Introduction and Intermediate Display features
  • Database collection, summarization, replay and reports
  • Thresholds
  • Configurations
  • Atlases
  • PROGNOSIS Support

This class is intended for Windows, Unix, Linux and HP Nonstop system administrators with a minimum of 6 months system management experience.
