Yankee Group ranks VoIP management solutions
Respected analyst firm Yankee Group has placed PROGNOSIS at the top of their list of IP telephony management solutions in a direct comparison between 17 vendors.
Yankee’s George Hamilton stated “The breadth and depth of capability distinguishes PROGNOSIS from others that typically focus on particular components of IP telephony management…the ability for PROGNOSIS to manage highly-distributed or very large environments will position the company as leading vendor for a variety of deployment sizes.”

PROGNOSIS for Web Applications - the new tool in espionage
Launched as a tool to measure website availability and application response times, PROGNOSIS for Web Applications is now being used to ‘monitor’ competitor sites.
Knowing what your site is doing, how it is doing it, and when it stops is vitally important. The same insight into a competitor site is just as invaluable. The typical pay-per-test approach makes it unviable to monitor even one competitor at a frequency that would provide meaningful information. With PROGNOSIS you can monitor any site, any time – at no extra cost.

Annual survey reveals VoIP maturing faster than predicted
Integrated Research’s 2005 global IP telephony market survey produced some interesting, if not surprising results. The IP telephony market is rapidly maturing and gaining acceptance into the mainstream. Technological maturation comes as no surprise; however, the interesting element is the speed at which it is taking place.
Cost savings no longer drive IP telephony adoption. Rather, technological reliability through monitoring and management solutions, and increased capabilities such as Video over IP, are what organizations look for when choosing IP telephony.
